If your child has traveled recently or had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 AND has fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please call the office first for further directions.
To limit any possibility of exposure or transmission of COVID-19, if your child is not feeling well, you may call the office and speak to a doctor first to determine if your child needs to be seen or can be observed at home for the time being. Currently, we are attempting to only see scheduled well child visits in the morning, and will start seeing sick visits in the afternoon after the scheduled well child visits have been completed and have exited the building. We will continue to try to accommodate the needs of all our patients while maintaining everyone's well being.
In order to continue to serve our community, practice proper social distancing, and to help alleviate the burden on the hospital emergency rooms, Milestones Pediatrics will continue to open during our regularly scheduled hours. However, we will only be seeing patients with scheduled appointments. Please call ahead prior to coming to the office.
To all our dear patients and parents, there is no need to panic but be vigilant. Practice good hygiene. Practice social distancing. Practice proper self-quarantine when warranted. If you are sick, stay home and most importantly, try to limit contact with the elderly as they are the most vulnerable.
We will get through these tough times together. Stay safe and healthy.
Please contact us directly with any questions, comments, or scheduling inquiries you may have.
